Full Military Honors for Tom Bower - January 16th 2004
Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery
A military service for Thomas Bower was held on the afternoon of January 16th, 2004.
The ceremony took place on Point Loma overlooking San Diego Bay with distant views
of the Navel Base and the City of San Diego. Joe McGrievy read the
Eulogy.
An honor guard of six enlisted personnel performed the military honors with a
furled flag and six gun salute. Taps were played. Tom's ashes will be interred
in the cemetery overlooking the Pacific where he spent many months at sea and
where he lived in retirement.
